As Education Minister, I would propose the Ministry be abolished

Mahathir should appoint me as Minister of Education.

Otherwise, he’s going to fail again on bringing back the English language.

Alternatively, I can run Malaysia Airlines.

As Education Minister, I would propose the Ministry be abolished. Sabah and Sarawak want education and health, among others, to be returned to them.

Parliament should recommend the National Education Commission to be appointed by the Agong.

The state assemblies should recommend the State Education Bureaus to be appointed by the Governors including in the sultanates.

Of course Mahathir won’t appoint me.

It would be a blessing in disguise.

Then, I can point out why they failed.

Do they want to keep failing?

The more things appear to change, the more they remain the same. The Malaysia Boleh policy in fact covers a “multitude of sins”.

The law of inertia . . . a body at rest stays at rest unless acted upon by an external force, a body in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an external force.

Having said that, the only predictable property of the universe is chaos.

Energy cannot be created, nor destroyed, but only transferred or transformed. Every energy transfer increases the randomness of the universe.

Mahathir today: “I will announce the new Education Minister soon.”

Mahathir tomorrow: “Surprise! surprise! Mahathir Mohd is back as Education Minister.”

He’s the best man for the job.”

Deja vu!

Having an Education Ministry results in endless politicking and politicisation.

We must reject the following rogues and scoundrels:

those who harp on race and religion to gather political support: Example: Zakir Naik, Waytha Moorthy, MIC, MCA, Umno, PAS, ISMA, JAKIM etc

those who turn everything into a racial and religious issue. Example: the Adib mishap and others.

those who politicise history for self-serving reasons.

those who violate rule of law, the basis of the Constitution. Example: degeneration, deviation and distortion of the Definition of Malay in Article 160; Article 153; NEP; and non-compliance on MA63.

The law and the Constitution does not allow for discrimination.

Half the VCs at public universities should be removed for violating Article 153, among others.

The other half should produce a recognised PhD.

The critical disciplines should be excluded from the quota system.

Half the teaching force in schools should be retired for violating Article 153.

The examination system should not be a state secret.

The suitability certificate for education overseas should be abolished. The universities concerned have prerogative and discretionary powers on the admission of Malaysian students.

It seems that you can get the suitability certificates for a price.

Q: What did Dr. M say to Maszlee?

A: “I think you masz-leeave!”

The law of karma, when it kicks in as it must, sees karmic forces run their course until they exhaust themselves.

Utusan Melayu, in Jawi, closed down decades ago.

Jawi is a dead script. In any case, Unesco will support efforts to revive and preserve the script. Bahasa Kebangsaan should be written at least partly in Jawi.

Khatt, Islamic calligraphy, should be confined to Muslim students.

Jawi, based on Farsi and Arabic, replaced the Indian script originally used by the Malay language as the lingua franca of the Archipelago.

Under Article 152, Rumi is the official script for bahasa kebangsaan.

Except for Vietnam, all countries in mainland southeast Asia use the Indian script . . . Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.

In Vietnam, the French introduced Roman letters.

Again, Jawi replaced the Indian script in the Archipelago, before being replaced by Roman letters.

Of course, BULLDOZER won’t ask me to head Malaysia Airlines, it’s ‘unthinkable’.

Languages can emerge if the people have choices and are left alone to communicate as best as they can.

Except for the Gen Y, Malays did not vote for PH.

If vernacular schools are banned, national schools will turn into a battleground for pupils. Parents should equip their children with martial arts skills.

In English schools, the Chinese were the majority, and I had to constantly fight them. They only left me alone when I emerged as among the top students in school.

There’s no Malay race in the Definition in Article 160.

UPDATE . . .

There’s no one to get Waytha Moorthy out.

In the case of Maszlee, DAP got him out.

Next, DAP will push Mahathir out.

Sometimes, when Mahathir is alone, he’s blabbering to himself.

PH should let him go.

Waytha Moorthy should not be in the Cabinet. He’s squatting on Indians as a one-man MIC show.

There are other Indians in the Cabinet who can do better than Waytha Moorthy.

Waytha Moorthy is working for himself. Ask his brother Uthayakumar.

Anwar has already rejected the idea of him being DPM to Mahathir.

He wants Mahathir to go.

Mahathir has already said that Wan Azizah can resign. No guarantee Anwar will be DPM, he said.

So, Wan Azizah changed her mind about resigning.

The latest is that Wan Azizah wants to be PM.
