Ultimately, the Covid-19 (novel Corona Virus Disease 2019) is an immune system problem.
With lightning speed, China has constructed hospitals in Wuhan, but President Xi Jinping will face a mountain of issues going forward.
The party’s half-baked admission misses Xi’s biggest problem.
The leader’s call for “top-down” governance conflicts with Wuhan officials’ need for freedom.
Control freakism is not the way forward.
The people have their pride and dignity.
The Chinese Communist Party is not concerned about the virus but remaining in power.
Beijing’s concern is that the people of China will rise up, in the wake of the virus, and overthrow communist party rule.
It’s karma at work.
It’s difficult to manage this outbreak, as with diabetes and other degenerative conditions brought about by lifestyle, because discipline is needed.
Hygiene is important.
Sanitise the hands and wear face masks to help prevent touching the mouth and nose.
Don’t touch the eyes.
Cover the mouth when coughing. Sneeze into a handkerchief.
Keep at least six feet away from the next person.
Avoid crowded places.
Help keep the immune system strong . . . ensure at least eight hours of night sleep, take sufficient daytime rest, sip eight glasses of water a day to keep hydrated, avoid refined white sugar and food with refined white sugar, and no polished white rice.
I don’t know whether drinking rasam, or taking Indian spices, helps. No harm trying them out, as a sort of insurance, i.e. to keep on the safe side.
The panic created by the media, and social media, causes more harm than the virus itself. Except for WHO and gov’t statements, don’t share anything on the virus.
Don’t believe the virus was deliberately engineered. It makes no sense. The virus endangers everyone.
We know how many people have died and/or been infected by the virus.
But how many people have recovered from the virus?
The great majority may have recovered.
Apparently, the great majority who died had other medical conditions and these, taken together, compromised their immune system.
Let’s keep things in perspective.
About 80, 000 people died last year of the flu virus in the US alone. About 10, 000 people have died so far this year, in the US, of the flu virus.
Isolation and quarantine will prevent spread of the Corona virus.
The young and healthy will recover.
The elderly will probably recover if they don’t have any other medical conditions.
Again, the flu virus and the Corona virus are similar except the latter is like having a very bad cold.
Both attack the respiratory system.
There’s no cure for the flu virus. It seems there’s a vaccine but it may not last long.
Anyone with flu should be placed on the suspect list for Corona virus until they recover and therefore can be cleared.
How many people died of SARS and MERS? Not many!
Coronavirus appears to be spreading faster and killing more people.
How many people died of AIDS, caused by HiV, a virus?

China cannot afford to experience periodic outbreaks of virus attacks.
Such attacks have exposed China at its most vulnerable, its Achilles Heel is clear.
These virus attacks are not about the deaths that follow but the panic and fear they create, no thanks to the media and social media.
Fake news takes over.
This not only disrupts the economy, local and global, for weeks and months on end, but saps public confidence in the Communist Party.
UPDATED with Video . . . The more efforts are made to kill the virus, the more it will mutate, and the more difficult to kill it.
