So far, 80,928 people have fallen ill with the COVID-19 in China and 3,245 have died, while 70,420 have recovered to date, according to the commission.

My COMMENT:

No new local cases have been reported in China.

There have been 80 odd imported cases which were tracked at airports.

No country in the world has overtaken China in the number of cases.

That’s a sign the situation has stabilised worldwide.

However, Italy has overtaken China in the number of deaths i.e. less cases than China but more deaths.

This could be a trend in the rest of the world but it remains to be seen.

Ventilators could reduce the number of deaths.
