Sanity should prevail, not everybody will die because of Corona virus, the economy should come first, get back to work

It does not matter if the whole world has the Corona virus pandemic as long as a country keeps itself safe by imposing controls at the borders. That means checking everybody who goes out and checking everybody who comes in.

Don’t allow foreign labour, tourists and students to come in until WHO declares the Corona virus pandemic over.

Sanity should prevail, not everybody will die because of the Corona virus, the economy should come first, get back to work.

Trump is right. The cure should not be worse than the cause, there’s no need to test the entire population. It’s no point surviving the Corona virus pandemic and being killed by the economy collapsing and imploding.

That will be a Pyrrhic victory.

The victor will inherit the ashes.

As evident from China, the Corona virus pandemic will resolve itself if people observe the movement control order and/or lockdown; practise personal hygiene i.e. wear a mask to avoid touching the face viz. mouth, nose and eyes; sanitise hands, cough or sneeze into a handkerchief, practise social distance i.e. keep two metres or six feet away from the next person, stay at home if possible or as much as possible and work from home, bathe before going out, bathe after returning home; and avoid crowded places including places of worship and shopping malls.

If you can take a deep breath and hold it for ten seconds, you don’t have Corona virus.

If you still have your sense of smell and taste, you don’t have Corona virus.

If you have Corona virus, you will have mild diarrhoea. Mild diarrhoea doesn’t necessarily mean Corona virus unless you can’t hold your breath for ten seconds and your sense of smell and taste goes.

Losing the sense of smell and taste by themselves does not mean Corona virus. We also lose these senses when we are ill with something else.

There will be greater technology and greater globalisation but very little flow of refugees and unskilled labour.

Highly skilled workers and highly educated people will move where it’s best for them.

Those with the necessary experience will no longer think of their countries first for employment.

Many people will also work from their countries via the Internet for employers in other countries.

Economic fallout from the Corona virus pandemic . . .

tourism, hospitality, eating out, airlines, conventions, shopping complexes, airlines, public transportation, print media, traditional news reporting, movie houses, people trafficking and houses of worship would collapse.

shopping would go online.

food deliveries including by drones and takeaways would increase.

universities would go online.

working online from home including the civil service would increase.

teleconferencing would increase and that would include courts.

industries and agriculture would opt for computerisation, automation, robotisation, drones and AI. There would be no need for foreign labour.

logistics would become important because of the global supply chain. Cargo airlines, cargo shipping, pos laju and air courier services would increase services.

the social media, online media services, and blogging would increase. Online media would focus on in-house processing of material.
