China ‘forced’ sleeping giant India’s emergence as great military power

Who was responsible for sleeping giant India emerging as one of the great military powers in the world?

China under Prime Minister Chou En Lai!

Who was responsible for no longer sleeping giant India emerging as the only nation in the world which can put China in its place?

China under Emperor Xijinpiang!

Xijinping has virtually forced the West, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam to regard India as a military ally that they cannot do without. Many of these nations are rushing to further beef up India’s military potential.

India is not a proactive nation, it’s a pacer, but eventually overtakes All. It can beat China, for example, on every front by simply pacing it. If push comes to shove, it can beat the shit out of anyone!

It’s little known that China was responsible before 2020, and in fact since 1962, for India diverting resources from economic development to developing its military potential.

China, plagued by communism, was alarmed in 1962 by the progress that socialist India was making on the economic front.

So, Beijing made a strategic decision to attack India in 1962.

Although China was defeated by the winter, its supply lines in Tibet being cut off, and a hostile population and had to withdraw with its tail between the legs, the damage had been done. Beijing succeeded in forcing a strategic shift in New Delhi from the economy to building up the armed forces.

Subsequently, India abandoned socialism, and China did likewise with communism.

In the midst of the novel Corona virus pandemic, Xijinping decided to test whether India had the strategic ability to thwart its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) with Pakistan through territory which India claims.

The June 15 fisticuffs and/or hand-to-hand combat in the Galwan Valley demonstrated beyond a shadow of doubt that China was no match for India in the Tibetan border regions.

Although Chinese troops have since retreated from the Galwan Valley, the picture going forward from June 15 is crystal clear.

The 1.2b people of India can make mincemeat of the PLA and sent the remnants back to China proper along the East Asia Sea.

China is unlikely to go to war with India or the US.

It’s not because China will lose any such wars. It’s because China cannot win and it will lose face.

Beijing is petrified about losing face especially in Asia.

India is more likely to provoke China into war because it knows the latter cannot win. In fact, India will win any border skirmish with its neighbours.

The recent border skirmish between India and China was “provoked” by New Delhi’s infrastructure development to beef up its offensive defence capabilities.

The geography favours India.

China lies open and exposed.

India will eventually help Sinkiang, Tibet, Yunnan, Gobi, Inner Mongolia and Manchuria break away from China Proper.

New Delhi will also reduce Pakistan to a rump state in west Punjab but only on the west bank of the Indus, the river from which India took its name in English.

The US and even Australia will continue to provoke Beijing into war in the South China Sea. Beijing should drop its ridiculous claims in the waterway. The West is noted for standing up for principles.

China’s BRI with Pakistan lies in tatters. Pro-India Baluchistan in Pakistan in BRI country is restive and on the brink of emerging as another Bangladesh 1971. It would be interesting to see how Pakistan settles its enormous BRI debts with China.

Chinese-held Tibet is another restive region which would no longer tolerate rule by Beijing.

New Delhi has quietly abandoned its pro-China stance on Tibet. The territory is no longer regarded as part of the Chinese republic but China-held like Sinkiang, Yunnan, Gobi, Inner Mongolia and Manchuria.

India, being not too fond of anything to do with Islam and Muslims, is still loathe to support any anti-China initiatives in Sinkiang. So, the Muslim insurgents have a lot of work to do to convince New Delhi that they deserve support from India.

There’s hope.

Already, Baluchistan and Afghanistan are two Muslim countries which have won over India. Baluchistan joined the Indian Union in 1947 but was seized by the Pakistan Army instigated by British colonialists.

India also has support in Sindh and the NWFP in Pakistan. The NWFP wanted to join the Indian Union in 1947, and failing that, Afghanistan. Sindh wanted to be free in 1947 but was seized by the Pakistan Army, again instigated by British colonialists.

India launched a naval blockade of Pakistan in 1971 and brought it to its knees. Earlier, the Indian Air Force destroyed the entire Pakistan Air Force on the runaway. That night, the whole of Pakistan was glued to Indian TV showing Mughal-e-Azam, a blockbluster love story from the Mughal Empire in India.

East Pakistan, seized by the Pakistan Army in 1947, broke away as Bangladesh. Only the Indian Army protected the 90, 000 Pakistani prisoners of war from the fury of the Mukti Bahini guerrilla force in Bangladesh.

FATA is a federally-administered lawless tribal and feudal region in difficult mountain country in Pakistan.

The original Pakistan was confined to west Punjab on both sides of the Indus River.

India has to push to the Indus as the secure border with the rump state of Pakistan.

The Indian-American defence partnership in the Indo-Pacific theatre will be the most important strategic arrangement of its kind in the 21st Century.

The people of China will make mincemeat of the PLA swearing allegiance to the communist party.

That’s land British colonialists stole from India.

Why the CEOs of Microsoft, Google and Pepsi are Indians

India will not take sides.

It will not fight any nation on behalf of another.

The CEOs at the multinationals are picked by AI computers. Indians, by temperament, make good CEOs, COOs and Managers. They have leadership and communication skills.

America needs India more than vice versa. India probably needs no one.

Unlike the West, Indians don’t believe in living on debts. It’s a cultural thing.

Every Indian household, no matter how poor, has some gold.

Indians have the largest private collection of gold in the world. Yet, they refuse to invest in the Indian gov’t’s Gold Trust of India.

The Trust is a failure.

  1. Not according to Humphery Hawkley in his book Asian Waters. India is way behind China economically and militarily. While the Indian army are more experienced in close combats and can win such battles at the border, China has too much advantage in terms of technology and assets. India will not be able to fight China alone and win. The question is, can it forge an effective alliance with the US and others?
