You may know me . . . Rafizi Ramli.

I am a former Pandan Member of Parliament who is often detained by the police, summoned and sentenced to prison for exposing corruption and misappropriation of those in power.

Maybe someone still remembers the scandals I uncovered as slander.

Recently, Dato ‘Seri Najib tried to popularize the so-called all allegations of irregularities that took place under his administration as mere slander.

Every time I review a case, I rely on audited financial reports. I have never appeared on an issue except without evidence from audited financial reports, moreover I am a certified auditor and accountant in the United Kingdom.

All figures on a financial scandal come from audited financial reports.

For example, I first investigated the 1MDB scandal because the financial report of 1MDB’s subsidiary, SRC International Sdn Bhd showed how the Retirement Trust Fund (KWAP), the national pension fund, had given a loan of RM4,000 million to 1MDB to invest in Mongolia.

From the annual financial report of the Armed Forces Fund Board (LTAT), I managed to trace how the pension fund of military retirees has fallen sharply since LTAT was involved in the 1MDB project.

The same goes for Felda. I began to unravel the financial shortcomings in Felda based on its audited financial statements from 2011 to 2016. The figures audited by the Auditor General clearly show the amount of Felda money that has been spent.

Same with Tabung Haji. I only present the financial analysis to support the argument of Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz, the former Governor of Bank Negara that Tabung Haji reserves have been negative and the analysis came from Tabung Haji’s own financial statements.

The source of information that allowed me to expose the MARA scandal came from the sale and purchase documents filed in Australia and the Melbourne Court documents.

You also certainly know that the NFC scandal was first mentioned in the Auditor General’s own Report. I just investigate in more depth and reveal the purchases by keeping track of every condominium purchased.

If you do not believe, I invite you to read the thousands of pages of documents based on these official documents that have been audited for each scandal I unpacked, such as the links on the screen:

1MDB scandal: 118 documents at http://rafiziramli.com/category/1mdb/

Felda scandal: 47 documents at http://rafiziramli.com/category/felda/

Tabung Haji Scandal: 31 documents at http://rafiziramli.com/category/tabung-haji/

NFC scandal: 52 documents at http://rafiziramli.com/category/skandal-nfc/

LTAT scandal: 16 documents at http://rafiziramli.com/category/ltat/

MARA scandal: 21 documents at http://rafiziramli.com/category/mara/

You will be able to see for yourself that all these scandals are from government documents and audited financial statements. These scandals are also not denied or properly explained by Dato ‘Seri Najib’s administration, except to accuse me of peddling slander.

Defamation is fabricating stories that do not exist. Slander is lying.

When I revealed how the people’s money of RM250 million was misappropriated to buy condominiums instead of raising cattle as they should, the Umno leadership did not deny that the condominiums were bought in the name of Dato ‘Seri Shahrizat’s family.

They accused me of slandering on the grounds that the act of buying a condominium using the people’s money was not wrong, because they had the right to spend the borrowed money.

The situation is the same with Tabung Haji. Until now, Dato ‘Seri Najib and Tabung Haji have not denied that Tabung Haji reserves in 2014 and 2015 were negative, as was my disclosure. They also do not deny that Tabung Haji has paid dividends more than the profits generated from the business. They also did not deny that Tabung Haji lost billions of ringgit from failed investments in FGV, TH Heavy Engineering and various other investments.

They accused me of slandering because supposedly behind all the losses, behind Tabung Haji’s negative reserves – it did not affect Tabung Haji’s financial integrity.

The method of covering up the scandal by accusing me of slander is used in all other scandals as well. Dato ‘Seri Najib never once denied the figures I presented on Felda’s financial position. Of course they can not deny it because the figures come from the audited financial statements as well as the answers of ministers in parliament.

Dato ‘Seri Najib did not deny that the debt of the Felda group has increased to RM12 billion as of 2017, while Felda had no debt before he took over. Tan Sri Shahrir did not deny that Felda savings had declined from RM4 billion in 2011 to RM434 million alone at the end of 2016.

So far they have not answered my question: where did the RM7 billion that was spent between 2011 and 2017 go? Who got this RM7 billion?

Instead, they accused me of slandering because supposedly even though all these figures are true, but there was no irregularity in Felda. Felda only loses, they say, just like any other business loses. When I questioned the losses that exceeded this limit, they answered I had slandered.

It is time we raised the Malay to be honest, intelligent, and hardworking and trustworthy institutions to maintain this Malay.

Enough of us to witness how the minister, ministers and their families mak memperkudakan Malay name for their luxuries.
