Sabah’s grinding poverty explained!

I wrote in 2010 that Sabah, according to the World Bank in KK, was the poorest state in Malaysia.

The report appeared in malaysiakini.

Ten years later, there was a recent report that Sabah is the poorest state in Malaysia.

Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan and Terengganu are the poorest states in Sabah.

The World Bank mentioned that the Philippines was transferring its poor to Sabah. Under the circumstances, warned the World Bank, Sabah will forever be chasing its tail on poverty eradication.

Having said that, the leaders in Sabah and Sarawak have failed to get the Federal gov’t to restructure the distribution of political power and restructure the distribution of revenue and resources.

Sabah and Sarawak have been internally colonised by Malaya.

This is a case for the UN Security Council. The Southern Sudan case study refers.

Administrative powers . . .

Najib offered before GE14 to transfer greater administrative powers to Sabah and Sarawak by way of devolution.

The British transferred the Administration of Sabah and Sarawak to Malaya on 16 Sept 1963 under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).

Malaysia Day, 16 Sept 1963, turned out to be Occupation Day. The Federal gov’t has been non-compliant on MA63.

I have written that instead of harping on Batu Sumpah, 20 Points and MA63, Sabah and Sarawak should focus on the Malaysia Constitution, an unwritten/uncodified document based on the constitutional documents on Malaysia and the Federal Constitution.

Alternatively, the state assemblies in Sabah and Sarawak should Invoke Article VIII of MA63 for a new form of self-determination.

Malaysia Day, 16 Sept 1963, was supposed to be one form of self-determination.

After GE14, Mahathir ignored the Najib plan and started the BS Committee on MA63. It has been placed under OSA by backdoor PM Moo.

After a hue and cry, Moo announced a Council on MA63 just before the snap Sabah election.

Najib started the Pan Borneo Highway which came to a grinding halt under Mahathir after GE14.

Najib is the first Prime Minister who really tried to do something for Sabah and Sarawak. That’s why the people in the two Borneo states support him despite him allegedly making off with monies from 1MDB, among others.

If Mahathir or Anwar had headed 1MDB, they would have done the same thing as Najib but properly covered it up much better. We would not have been any wiser.

Mahathir and his family of multibillionaires allegedly plundered Petronas, among others, for many decades.

The people in Sabah and Sarawak despise Mahathir and Anwar Ibrahim. That’s why PKR won only two seats in the recent snap Sabah election.

SA was tainted by his links with Mahathir.

Mahathir and Anwar, both scoundrels, have allegedly been involved in placing dubious IC holders in the electoral rolls since 1994 when the PBS gov’t was overthrown by moneybags from Sarawak and Labuan financing frogs.

Moo did not allow these dubious IC holders, identified by the RCI, to vote in the snap Sabah polls. He closed the borders and also stationed NRD officers at the polling stations.

Then, he boldly announced that BN/PN/PBS will win the snap Sabah polls.

In fact, he predicted a landslide victory.

DAP . . .

DAP lied to the people of Sabah and Sarawak, just to win GE14.

The promised that Sabah and Sarawak would get 50 per cent of revenue, 20 per cent oil royalty and Equal Partnership in Malaysia with Malaya under MA63.

After GE14, LGE claimed that Mahathir doesn’t agree with the promises that DAP made.

Mahathir claimed that Petronas would go bankrupt if the oil royalty was 20 per cent instead of the measly and insulting 5 per cent paid since 1976.

What about Mahathir and family of multibillionaires plundering Petronas for many decades?

This is a first in world history. It should be in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Mahathir belabours in the delusion that the oil and gas resources of Sabah and Sarawak are his Kerala grandfather’s ancestral and historical property.

There’s no longer any place in Sabah and Sarawak for DAP, a lying party from Malaya.

What are they going to promise Sabah and Sarawak in GE15?

DAP should keep out of Sabah and Sarawak. If they really believe in Malaysian Malaysia and/or Malayan Malaya, they should contest all 165 seats in Malaya, win or lose, and help demolish ketuanan Melayuism once and for all.

PKR and Amanah, already allies with DAP, can contest under the rocket symbol.
