The virus reminds us that everything is connected to everything else, there’s only one truth, only one reality.
The collective only matters if the individual matters.
If one individual transgresses another, all individuals are affected, the collective affected.
Mother Nature, the Will of God, and Earth matters.
We can’t take it with us when we go. There must be principles if evil and corruption are to end.
That’s the lesson from the virus which seems designed, as a form of intelligence, to prevent movement which has led to human activities hurting Mother Earth.
Human movements and activities must be in harmony with the universe . . . all for one, one for all.
There’s enough for everyone’s needs, not enough for someone’s greed.
There’s artificial disunity among the Orang Asal in Sarawak in particular. They are victims of colonial divide and rule tactics and ketuanan Melayuism.
Orang Asal seats are divided among all parties. This weakens them and adds to the strength of others at their expense.
Malay seats are alloted to PBB only.
Chinese seats are given to SUPP only.
Orang Asal are the majority community in Sarawak.
NCR land, ancestral and historical property of the Orang Asal, are protected by Adat, Land Office, and High Court under Articles 161A, 5, 8(1), 12(1) and 13 of the Constitution.
According to Article 161A, only the indigenous (Orang Asal) people of Sabah and Sarawak are Native.
The Orang Asli in Malaya are covered by the Aboriginal People’s Act 1954 and have NCR land.
The people should get away from personality cults and party politics.
They should use X Power to focus on facts, issues and policies in elections and movements.
Card carrying political party members are not about democracy but new forms of tribalism and feudalism.
Democracy is not about voting once in five years and going home and sleeping.
Democracy only works if the people participate.
They should form movements on every issue to keep a check on gov’t and keep it on its toes.
The people should refer errant politicians to the nearest hospital, through the court, for an evaluation and institutionalise them for life to keep the public from harm.
The evil and corrupt should be dragged to justice. This will serve as a lesson for others vying for public office or in public service.
There’s a case for bringing back local gov’t elections which have been suspended since 1965 in the wake of Indonesia’s Ganyang M’sia battle cry under the policy of Kronfrontasi, undeclared war on the re-colonisation of Sabah and Sarawak.
Most development is not the local level. Taxes must be levied only at this level. Local gov’ts can share taxes with Federal and state gov’ts.
The Federal and state gov’ts can share taxes with local gov’ts which can’t pay their way.
True democracy exists when society is based on a bottom up approach.
Most gov’ts in the world, whether communist or non-communist, favour the top down approach.
This has made ending the pandemic, for example, extremely difficult.
Beijing, despite being control freaks, allowed the bottom up approach on the pandemic by empowering and funding local gov’ts.
The pandemic is a local public healthcare crisis. It’s crowding that causes community transmission and spread.
Local gov’ts can prevent crowding and ensure compliance on the SOP in public.
The hotspots in crowding are travellers coming in, foreign workers, illegal immigrants, factories, offices, frontliners in public healthcare, other frontliners, eateries and shopping complexes, small and family gatherings and large gatherings for recreation, sports meets, at beaches and worship houses.
It’s said there will be herd immunity if those exposed to crowding are vaccinated. Apparently, herd immunity can be attained if 70 per cent of the people are vaccinated.
Alternatively, getting infected can provide immunity, but perhaps not for long, a few months to a year at the most. Then, the risk of re-infection exists.
I don’t want to dwell on vaccinations. I won’t accept vaccination even if airlines demand vaccination certificates.
The focus in the unwritten list becomes clear: a silent reminder, just before falling asleep at night, increases awareness on the slight gap between the gross human body — it’s not ‘me’ — and the undifferentiated consciousness trapped in space, time, in the gross human body as differentiated consciousness seeking certainties . . . based on delusions . . . in the comfort zone;
