It’s not about personal interest.
It’s about the spirit of the law, read with the letter of the law.
The Word of God refers to eternal laws based on eternal truths. These have a spiritual nature.
Karma is the 1st eternal law based on an eternal truth.
Jesus explained Truth (emancipation), Faith (seeing things which can exist) and Karma (Parable of the Sower).
Neutralise Karma by acceptance. Time will exhaust Karmic forces sooner or later.
What others do to us is their Karma. How we react is our Karma.
Commitment (not giving up) and Truth and Faith takes us to the destination.
