Malayalees first people in Malaya, having come 40, 000 years ago as Negrito (Semang)

Malayalees (people of the hills/mountains) in Kerala were the first people in Malaya, having come 40, 000 years ago as Negrito (Semang).

Lowland Negrito were also known later as Sakai.

Kanis, Uralis, Kadar, Kanikkar, and Paniyar, the major tribes who inhabit the mountains of Kerala, are descendants of the Negrito.

Many of the Negrito who came to Malaya from India 40, 000 years ago, moved to Burma, Sumatra, south Thailand, Borneo and the Philippines.

The Negrito are still there in Malaya and the Philippines.

Again, the Negrito are still there in India. They came to India 70, 000 years ago from east Africa.

There are no longer any Negrito in east Africa.

It’s globalisation that decides on human migration.

Humans are like birds.

The more intelligent and adventurous of the species will leave the nest and fly further and further away every day.

At first, they return by evening. Soon, they will not come back because it’s too far to fly back.

The timid birds will just fly around the nest. The mother bird eventually pushes the baby birds out from the nest.

All those who migrate are invited by their relatives somewhere. What do they do in the new country? The same thing they did in the old country.

If you can save in the new country, it’s worth moving.

Malaya’s only asset is its location between southeast India and south China.

KK is on the north south and east west air route.

Sarawak is in the backwaters. AirAsia recently dropped its direct flights from Shenzhen to Sibu.
