BREAKING NEWS! . . . Indian Muslim by race, Malay by form of identity . . .

Indian Muslim are Malay as form of identity, under Article 160(2), if born or domiciled in Singapore or Malaya before Merdeka, 31 Aug 1957.

Their descendants are Malay.

The 1st and 2nd Prongs of the Article are read together.
